Park Gets Upgrade

New restrooms and showers added to campground

A new Comfort Station was installed in the campground, replacing the old one at the north end of Campground A.

It is quite an improvement over the older one. In a quick walkaround, you’ll find four showers on the north end of the building, one being a handicap shower. On the west side, you’ll find two water fountains and the entrance to the men’s restroom. Walking around to the east side, you’ll find the entrance to the women’s restroom. Also, on each side there is a handicap restroom with a shower. All the showers may be used by men or women.

There are three sidewalks leading to the restroom – one from between Campsites 23 and 25, one from between Campsites 44 and 46 and one from the Campview Shelter. In case of a bad storm, this will be a safe place to go for shelter.
